Cartwright Statement on President’s Budget

Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Matt Cartwright issued the following statement on President Obama’s budget proposal:

“President Obama’s fiscal year 2015 budget request seeks to promote economic growth, make critical investments in our future, and responsibly reduces the deficit. 

“Investments in education, manufacturing, and vital infrastructure – tied with an increase in the minimum wage – will help put Americans back to work and grow the middle class.”
