Washington – Today, U.S. Congressman Matt Cartwright announced that the U.S. Department of Interior has made $52.3 million available for Pennsylvania in 2014– the largest amount made available to any State – to reclaim abandoned coal mines. Funds will be distributed via the Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSMRE).
