U.S. Rep. Matt Cartwright announced earlier this month that nine students from Pennsylvania's eighth district were selected to attend U.S. Military Service Academies. At no time in history has the need to support nursing education been more important. As our population ages and our health care workforce diminishes, nurses and advanced practitioners are becoming ever more central to the health and well-being of our community."

Nine area students have been accepted to United States military service academies, including a set of twins.  U.S. Rep.
