U.S. Rep. Matt Cartwright announced that the U.S. Department of the Army has awarded a $19.1 million contract to Medico Industries, Inc. – headquartered in Wilkes-Barre, PA – for Projectile Gun Unit (PGU)-45/B metal parts. 

“I am pleased that the Department of the Army has chosen to award a contract to Medico Industries,” said Cartwright.  “Through this contract, northeastern Pennsylvania, via Medico Industries, will contribute the resources necessary to ensure our national security.  I am a proud supporter of our military.”    

The multi-year contract is estimated to be completed by October 2018.  

Medico Industries is a heavy equipment specialist company.  Medico has sold equipment for over 75 years and serves 14 counties in Northeastern & Central Pennsylvania.
