Wilkes-Barre, PA – Today, U.S. Representative Matt Cartwright announced InnaVenture Pacific Northwest National Laboratory received $250,000 in Small Business Vouchers (SBV) to work with InnaVenture LLC, Wilkes-Barre. SBV facilitates access to the Department of Energy (DOE)’s national labs, enabling them to tap into the intellectual and technical resources needed to overcome critical technology challenges for their advanced energy products and gain a global competitive advantage. DOE provides these vouchers to small businesses for making our factories smarter, cleaner and better through next generation advanced manufacturing materials and process technologies. Next generation materials are those that can enable the manufacture of low-cost, high-performance products with broad applicability, including for energy intensive and clean energy industries. “Small businesses supply the majority of new jobs created each year. And small businesses that work on advanced energy technologies play an important role in ensuring our nation’s energy security and independence,” said Rep. Cartwright. |
