Editor: As we celebrate Juneteenth, let us all think about the enormity of what this day means for our country. I was so proud to cast my vote this week to make a national holiday of the day we finally cast off the shameful pall of slavery. I’m also proud that Pennsylvania was a thought center of the American abolitionist movement.
