COLTS Provides Transportation for Lackawanna and Luzerne Residents to Sept. 9th Storm Multi-Agency Resource Center in S. Abington Twp.

The County of Lackawanna Transit System (COLTS) will provide free transportation to the Sept. 9th Storm Multi-Agency Resource Center located in the rear garage of the Chinchilla Fire Hose Company, 113 Shady Lane Road, S. Abington Twp., from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sept. 21 and 22 and on Sept. 23 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For residents in Luzerne County in need of transportation to the MARC - please contact your local municipality to arrange public transportation to and from the COLTS Scranton Transit Center, from which COLTS will provide free transportation to the Multi-Agency Resource Center event.

For residents in Lackawanna County in need of transportation to the MARC - COLTS has created three routes for Sept. 21, 22 and 23 with four pick-up locations based upon the following schedule:

Route A: Scranton: 

  • Beginning at 10 a.m. and arriving every hour until 5 p.m.: Keyser Valley Community Center, 101 N. Keyser Ave., Scranton 
  • Beginning at 10:20 a.m. and arriving every hour until 5:20 p.m.: Toyota of Scranton, 3400 N. Main Ave., Scranton 
  • Beginning at 10:40 a.m. and returning every hour until 5:40 p.m.: Chinchilla Hose Company, 113 Shady Lane Road, S. Abington Twp.

Route B: Dalton: 

  • Beginning at 10 a.m. and arriving every hour until 5 p.m.: Dalton Do-It Center, 1010 Lackawanna Trail, Dalton 
  • Beginning at 10:30 a.m. and returning every hour until 5:30 p.m.: Chinchilla Hose Company, 113 Shady Lane Road, S. Abington Twp.

Route C: Newton: 

  • Beginning at 10 a.m. and arriving every hour until 5 p.m.: Newton Recreational Center, 1814 Newton Ransom Blvd., Clarks Summit 
  • Beginning at 10:30 a.m. and returning every hour until 5:30 p.m.: Chinchilla Hose Company, 113 Shady Lane Road, S. Abington Twp.

COLTS created three routes for Saturday, Sept. 23 with four pick-up locations based upon the following schedule: 

Route A: Scranton: 

  • Beginning at 9 a.m. and arriving every hour until noon: Keyser Valley Community Center, 101 N. Keyser Ave., Scranton 
  • Beginning at 9:20 a.m. and arriving every hour until 12:20 p.m.: Toyota of Scranton, 3400 N. Main Avenue, Scranton 
  • Beginning at 9:40 a.m. and returning every hour until 12:40 p.m.: Chinchilla Hose Company, 113 Shady Lane Road, S. Abington Twp.

Route B: Dalton: 

  • Beginning at 9 a.m. and arriving every hour until 12 p.m.: Dalton Do-It Center, 1010 Lackawanna Trail, Dalton 
  • Beginning at 9:30 a.m. and returning every hour until 12:30 p.m.: Chinchilla Hose Company, 113 Shady Lane Road, S. Abington Twp.

Route C: Newton: 

  •  Beginning at 9 a.m. and arriving every hour until noon: Newton Recreational Center, 1814 Newton Ransom Blvd., Clarks Summit 
  • Beginning at 9:30 a.m. and returning every hour until 12:30 p.m.: Chinchilla Hose Company, 113 Shady Lane Road, S. Abington Twp.
