Luzerne County Head Start will receive nearly $5 million from the third installment of a 2022 federal grant, U.S. Rep. Matt Cartwright, D-8, Moosic, announced Wednesday.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services grant is for comprehensive, early childhood education for children in Luzerne and Wyoming Counties, Cartwright said.
