Those are three key reasons Congressman Matt Cartwright and other officials are pushing hard to bring back a passenger rail service from Scranton to New York City. "There is an immediate need for it as thousands of people travel from Monroe County to northern New Jersey and metropolitan New York City every day for their jobs," Cartwright said at an event in Stroudsburg Tuesday.
