Rep. Cartwright attends PACT Act signing at White House

U.S. Rep. Matt Cartwright joined fellow lawmakers at the White House Rose Garden for President Joe Biden's signing of the PACT Act on Wednesday afternoon, celebrating the inclusion of legislation that will open up healthcare access to hundreds of thousands of veterans and their families.

Following a failure to reach a minimum of 60 yea votes in the Senate, the bill passed in an 86-11 vote on Aug. 2, expanding access to care for veterans who were subject to chemical exposure resulting in medical issues during their service.
