NASA comes to NEPA to work with small local business owners

NASA’s Northeast Pennsylvania Day was held at the University of Scranton today.

This event gave small local business owners a chance to network with NASA and explore opportunities.

Featured speakers included congressman Matt Cartwright and NASA's Jim Reuter.

They had one-on-one sessions so business owners could learn how to work with contractors.

 

15 buyers from NASA and related industries were in attendance.

"We look for areas where there is good opportunities and we think theres excellent opportunities for it and Pennsylvania is actually a big growing area for space," said Jim Reuter, NASA’s associate administrator for the Space Technology Mission Directorate

NASA said 63 companies in Pennsylvania help supported the Artemis Program.
