Rep. Cartwright Announces $2.26 Million for Northeastern Pennsylvania Fire Departments

“We’re lucky to have such capable and dedicated first responders who are always willing to go above and beyond the call of duty,” said Rep. Cartwright, who is a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee and Chairman of the Commerce, Justice and Science Subcommittee, where he oversees more than $70 billion in annual federal spending.

Today, U.S. Representative Matt Cartwright (PA-08) announced that $2.26 million in federal funds have been awarded to 12 local fire departments from the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Assistance to Firefighter Grant program.
