Luzerne County District Attorney Sam Sanguedolce is looking to form an emergency services unit that would also include a SWAT Team in Luzerne County after receiving a 2.5 million dollar grant with the help of Congressman Matt Cartwright.

“An area that were lacking in is Emergency services meaning that there areas that need very specially trained officers, ” Sanguedolce said.

District Attorney of Luzerne County Sam Saguedolce says that having a SWAT Team as well as an overall emergency services unit for the county will lessen the need for the counties dependence on State Police.
