U.S. Rep. Matt Cartwright invites interested area high school students, their parents and local educators to attend a Military Service Academy information session April 30 at Dunmore Junior Senior High School.

Running from 5-7 p.m., the free event aims to familiarize high schoolers in Cartwright's 8th Congressional District with the application and nomination process for applying to U.S. Service Academies.

Attendees can meet with staff from Cartwright's offices and representatives from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, the Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs and the Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, New York.
