Cartwright tops in Pennsylvania, Top 10 in country for securing funding

The Northeastern Pennsylvania lawmaker and chair of the House Appropriations’ Commerce, Justice and Science Subcommittee, landed $52.68 million in the House’s fiscal 2023 appropriations bills — more than 86% of his initial funding request for $61 million, and among the highest success rates of the members of Congress who received significant funding.

House spending bills spread around $8 billion worth of earmarks
